Former NBA guard Gilbert Arenas believes the Miami Heat should run their halfcourt offense through Bam Adebayo rather than Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Arenas explained that Adebayo’s passing mentality would make him a better option to initiate offensive possessions, allowing Antetokounmpo to focus primarily on scoring.
“To give them the better chance out of the two, I’ll say in the halfcourt – go through Bam because he’s less aggressive so he’s going to think pass first … with Giannis he’s looking at that basket first … you wanna keep him in attack mode so when he do get it – he’s only looking to score so I would rather have Bam throwing high low and back doors in halfcourt.”
