Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom has shared a video compilation of death threats he received ahead of his expected appearance at Game 3 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta.
“What’s up, Atlanta? I heard y’all loud and clear. Let me remind y’all one thing, I fear God and God alone. See y’all tomorrow…@WNBA,” Kanter wrote on X.
The Dream and Valkyries enter Game 3 with the series tied at 1–1. Atlanta evened the Finals with a 79–65 victory in Game 2, and the next two games are scheduled to take place in Atlanta.
Kanter’s potential attendance comes amid his ongoing public dispute over men’s eligibility in the WNBA.
The former NBA center previously claimed that he would be eligible for the 2027 WNBA Draft because, in his view, the league has not clearly defined what constitutes a woman under its eligibility rules.
He has also expressed his intention to become a spokesperson for women in sports, continuing to speak publicly about men participation in women’s basketball.

In August, Kanter was removed from a WNBA game between the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever at Wintrust Arena following a heated exchange with Sky guard Natasha Cloud during the third quarter.
The incident resulted in Kanter being banned from attending Chicago Sky home games. He subsequently filed a federal lawsuit alleging mistreatment in connection with his removal.
