Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr appeared to do a double take after spotting a fan who closely resembled him during Saturday’s preseason game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
A roughly 40-second video shared by @TedBuddy8 captured the moment, showing Kerr standing near the Warriors’ bench before the footage cut to a spectator with similar gray-blond hair and facial features.
The lookalike was sitting among fans next to a young boy wearing a blue-and-yellow jersey. Kerr, dressed in a white Warriors sweatshirt, appeared to notice the resemblance while looking toward the stands.
The arena footage also captured nearby fans reacting to the likeness. Comments heard in the clip included, “Yeah, they got a real one,” as spectators appeared to recognize the resemblance.
The moment took place during Golden State’s preseason matchup with Portland at Chase Center in San Francisco. The Warriors won 128-118, improving to 4-2 in preseason play.
Stephen Curry led Golden State’s starters with 20 points in 26 minutes, shooting 7-for-19 from the field and 3-for-11 from three-point range. Brandin Podziemski added 17 points, while Yaxel Lendeborg also scored 17 and recorded five assists.

Although the game provided a competitive preseason test for both teams, the brief exchange between Kerr and his apparent lookalike became a separate talking point in the arena footage.
