The Golden State Warriors reportedly remain uncertain about Kristaps Porzingis’ whereabouts, his current health condition and when he might return to the court.
According to Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard, the organization has limited information about the 31-year-old Latvian forward’s situation.
“The Warriors say they don’t know where Kristaps Porzingis is, exactly what he’s dealing with health-wise, or when he might be able to return to the court,” Emerman wrote Sunday.
The report comes after Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed that Porzingis missed Friday’s practice.
Kerr said he had exchanged text messages with the forward but had not discussed his health problems in detail.
“Yeah, we’ve texted. Seems to be doing okay, but we haven’t gotten into into depth… He’s got to take care of his health, and again, we’ll support that and keep moving forward with the team.”
Porzingis was diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) in 2025, a condition that can cause dizziness, fatigue and an increased heart rate when standing.

However, Golden State has not confirmed whether his current absence is related to that diagnosis.
The Warriors were aware of Porzingis’ medical history when they reportedly agreed to a two-year, $40 million contract extension with him during the offseason.
Despite that agreement, uncertainty remains about his availability for the 2026-27 season.
