Giannis Antetokounmpo has been impressed by his early experience with the Miami Heat and says he now has a better understanding of the culture surrounding the organization.
After spending time around his new teammates and observing how Miami operates on a daily basis, Giannis pointed to the team’s approach to practices and preparation as something that has stood out to him.
“I’m very impressed. I like their attitude and the way they approach practice and the day. It’s been amazing. People talk about Heat culture, but until you come in and witness it first hand, you don’t really understand.
“Now that I’m here I understand why they always play hard and compete.
“I want to prove I’m still one of the best players in the world. I want to do this for a long period of time. I want to prove I can go to a team and help them win and leave my mark in a different organization.”
