Max Strus is set to miss time after suffering a right foot injury during the Los Angeles Clippers’ preseason opener.

The Clippers forward has been diagnosed with a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his right foot, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday.

Strus is expected to be re-evaluated in four weeks, leaving his availability for the beginning of the regular season uncertain.

The injury occurred during Sunday’s preseason game in Hawaii. Strus went down on a noncontact play and subsequently underwent further evaluation to determine the extent of the damage.

His absence adds another name to the Clippers’ injury list as the team prepares for the new season. Brandon Ingram, Bradley Beal and Yanic Konan Niederhauser are also currently sidelined.

Los Angeles is scheduled to begin its regular-season campaign on October 21 against the Sacramento Kings.
