Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has compared Giannis Antetokounmpo’s playmaking ability to that of Magic Johnson, praising the Greek forward’s passing following his latest performance.
Spoelstra said that watching Antetokounmpo throughout the week in practice gave him a better understanding of how effectively he can create scoring opportunities for teammates.
“He makes great plays. – when you really see it every day in practice this week you appreciate how brilliant of a playmaker he can be. The size, vision, and the ability to just put it on the numbers to your shooters, it’s really impressive
“Pat was at practice all week, and the way he’s played with the ball in his hands and delivering the ball, reminds all of us of a great big point guard that played for Pat back in the 80s.”
