Knicks sign Jaden Akins

The New York Knicks continue to adjust their roster ahead of the regular season, announcing several moves involving players competing for spots during training camp.

New York waived John Konchar and N’Faly Dante, both of whom had joined the team on non-guaranteed camp contracts.

The Knicks also brought back Jaden Akins, signing him to a two-way contract. Akins had already been signed and waived twice by New York earlier in the offseason.

Veteran center Tony Bradley was another addition, agreeing to a training camp deal as the Knicks continue evaluating their frontcourt options.

New York also signed and subsequently waived Toby Okani. The transaction allowed the Knicks to satisfy roster minimum requirements while completing their other moves.

Okani is expected to remain within the organization and play for the Westchester Knicks during the upcoming G League season.
