The New York Knicks have filled two of their two-way spots, bringing back Kevin McCullar while also signing 2026 second-round pick Tyler Nickel.
McCullar returns after spending last season with New York on a two-way contract.
The 6-foot-6 guard played 14 games for the Westchester Knicks in the G League, averaging 16.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.9 steals and one block per game.
Nickel, meanwhile, was selected by the Knicks with the 47th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft after completing his senior season at Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 13.5 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 45% from the field, 40% from 3-point range and 85% from the free-throw line.
Before beginning his professional career, Nickel had been involved in a legal dispute with the NCAA regarding his attempt to receive a fifth season of college eligibility.
Instead of returning to Vanderbilt, he will now start his NBA career on a two-way contract with the defending champions.
