Collin Sexton came away impressed after Luka Doncic hosted his Lakers teammates for a five-day trip to Slovenia during the offseason.
Doncic arranged the team gathering as Los Angeles works to integrate a roster featuring several new players.
The trip combined basketball work with activities around Slovenia, including golf, rowing and sightseeing.
Players appreciated the experience enough to give Doncic handwritten notes thanking him for organizing it.
“I’m definitely coming back,” Collin Sexton said.
“We had an amazing time. Great experience. Nothing but good vibes, nothing but love. Luka, man, appreciate you for bringing us out to your country and taking us back where it all started.”
Sexton is among the new Lakers who will begin their first season playing alongside Doncic.
