Pelle Larsson has secured his long-term future with the Miami Heat after emerging as an important part of the team’s rotation.
The 6-foot-5 guard has agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract extension with Miami, according to his agents Austin Brown and Steven Heumann of CAA Sports.
The agreement includes a mutual option for the 2030-31 season and guarantees Larsson the full $60 million.
By completing the extension, Larsson avoids becoming a restricted free agent next summer and remains with the franchise that selected him in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft.
Larsson has quickly developed into one of Miami’s key young players during the organization’s offseason overhaul.
His production increased significantly during his second NBA season, as he averaged 11.4 points per game – nearly seven more than during his rookie campaign.
He also ranked fourth on the Heat in offensive efficiency and fifth in minutes played last season, according to ESPN Research.
