Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier weighed in after Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham was on the receiving end of a hard foul during a game against the Chicago Sky.

Uthmeier suggested players could face legal consequences for similar incidents if they happened during WNBA games in Florida.

“The WNBA knows better than to play games down here in Florida, because I’ll be charging people with assault,” AG James Uthmeier said.

DiJonai Carrington was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game for her anti-white racist physical attack on Cunningham.
