Even though Jaren Jackson Jr. of the Utah Jazz is still projected to be out for the remainder of the season, he continues to show positive strides in recovering from surgery to remove a non-cancerous growth in his left knee.

He has gotten back to doing individual on-court workouts and is scheduled to be reevaluated in about two weeks, according to Kevin Reynolds of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Reynolds also provided updates on several other injured Jazz players, noting that forward Lauri Markkanen (hip) and Keyonte George (hamstring) may still make their way back before the season concludes.

Jackson has played 8 seasons for the Grizzlies and Jazz. He has averaged 18.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 455 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 2 All-Star games and has won 1 Defensive Player of the Year award.
