The first year with the Milwaukee Bucks did not end the way that Damian Lillard expected it would. Sports analyst Stephen A. Smith thinks that the superstar should be moved.

Despite finishing third in the Eastern Conference in the regular season, the Bucks were knocked out in the first round by the Indiana Pacers, resulting in yet another disappointing finish.

According to Smith, the Bucks should trade Lillard not because he lacks talent, which the analyst praises, but because he is not happy being in Milwaukee and it is reflected by his public comments.

“My belief is that they [Bucks] should trade Damian Lillard…he was on the record talking about how life was a bit rough in Milwaukee…we all know he wanted Miami,” Smith said on ESPN’s First Take, via ClutchPoints.

In addition, Smith thinks that age is also a factor because Lillard will turn 34 this summer and it would make sense for the Bucks to get younger.

Finally, Lillard wanted to be traded specifically to the Miami Heat. Smith also mentioned New York as another big market spot that would be attractive for the superstar.
