Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid exited his team’s win against the Orlando Magic late in the first half. Embiid appeared to experience discomfort with his previously injured left knee after landing awkwardly. Although he returned to play in the second half, he seemed to struggle at times.
Following the game, Sixers head coach Nick Nurse confirmed that Embiid had indeed tweaked his left knee but was deemed fit to return for the second half. Nurse stated that Embiid will undergo reevaluation on Saturday, with a decision to be made regarding his availability for Philadelphia’s final game against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
