Josh Hart opened up about the trade rumors that surrounded his presence in the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hart is relieved he no longer has to deal with these rumors, after getting traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for Anthony Davis.

“The [trade rumors] were tough on him (Ingram). Before LeBron got there, he had been given the keys. And then people in L.A. were killing him: He’s not as good anymore.

He’s not a great No 2. pick. The rumors became part of our lives, all year. Thank God I don’t have to deal with that s— anymore,” Hart said about the trade, via Zach Lowe of ESPN.

As part of the blockbuster trade, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball joined the Pelicans, while Davis signed with the Lakers and led the team to the 2020 NBA title.
